After meeting Elmar professionally in Georgia, we became good friends and enjoyed many deep conversations remotely and when we found ourselves in the same country. Elmar taught not only me, but many of my NGO colleagues so much and was an inspiration to us. Elmar was a friend who departed this life too soon. We will always miss and remember him with great fondness.
